Project Tools → Quotes → the cog, or Admin → Prices

Prices

Your own catalogue of services and prices. It is what the quote builder offers you, so you quote from your rates rather than a blank page.

How to set your own prices

The Prices page is the catalogue behind your quote builder: the services you sell, split into sections, each with its own items and rates.

The Prices page listing services in sections with an editable price against each item
Each item has a price you can change, and a default to compare against.
  1. Open Project Tools → Quotes and click the cog beside New quote, or go to Admin → Prices.

  2. Find the section the item sits in, such as Website Design.

  3. Change the item's name or its price in the boxes on its row.

  4. Click Save on that row. The default price is shown beside it so you can see what you have changed.

  5. New quotes pick up your prices straight away. Quotes you have already made keep the prices they were built with.

Tip: Changing a price never rewrites a quote you have already sent, so you can put your rates up without disturbing anything outstanding.

How to add a new service or package

If you start selling something new, add it to the catalogue once and it appears on every quote you build from then on.

Add an item to a section and it joins every new quote.
  1. Open the Prices page and scroll to the section the new service belongs in.

  2. Type the item's name in the new-item row.

  3. Add a short description if the client should see one alongside it.

  4. Set the price, then save the row.

  5. Open a new quote to check it reads the way you want in front of a client.
