Client feedback
What your client actually sees: the portal, pinned comments on a live site or a mockup, and signing off a round.
How your client signs in to the portal
The portal is your client's view of their project: their brief, quote and contract, every round you've sent, and every file shared. They sign in with the account you created on the Accounts tab.

Send your client the portal link and their sign-in details — the welcome email does this for you when you add their account.
They go to /portal and sign in with their email and password.
The Reviews tab shows each service and its rounds, with a dot when there's something new from you.
The Details tab holds their brief, quote and contract; Files & links holds everything you've shared.
If the same email is on more than one project, they get Switch project to move between them.
Tip: Forgotten password? Change it on the project's Accounts tab with ••• → Change password, and tick the box to email it to them.
How your client leaves feedback on a page or design
A feedback link opens the live site or the file you uploaded, with a comment layer over the top. Your client clicks the exact spot they mean and types, so nothing gets lost in translation.

Your client opens the feedback link from your email or from the portal, and signs in to the portal if they aren't already.
They pick the page they want from the page menu, top left.
With Comment selected, they click the point on the page they mean, type the comment and click Comment.
They can attach a screenshot or file to a comment with the paperclip.
To click around the site instead of commenting, they switch to Interact.
Desktop, Tablet and Mobile at the top right change the width the page is shown at, so they can comment on the phone layout too.
Tip: Only the people you ticked in the share panel can open a feedback link, and only after signing in — the URL on its own isn't enough.
How to answer and resolve comments
Every pin is a thread. You reply in the same panel your client is in, and resolve a comment when it's dealt with — resolved ones drop to the bottom of the list.

Open the review from the project's Feedback tab, or from the bell when there's something new.
Open the comments panel with the speech-bubble button, top right.
Click a comment to highlight its pin on the page.
Type in the Reply box under a comment and press Enter.
Use ⋯ on a comment for Resolve, Edit or Delete. Resolve turns into Reopen if it needs to come back.
Filter the list by All, Unresolved or Resolved to see what's left to do.
Tip: The bell lists everything the other side has said since you were last here, so you can jump straight to new comments.
How your client signs off a round
The button in your email takes the client to the round in their portal: your message, the files, any feedback links, and two choices — sign off, or come back with more feedback.

Your client clicks the button in your email and signs in to the portal.
They open the round, read your message, open any files, and open any feedback link to leave pinned comments.
To approve, they click Review & Sign Off, type their name, add any last notes, then confirm with Yes, sign off.
To come back with changes instead, they click Add Additional Feedback, write their reply, attach anything they need and click Send Feedback.
Either way it lands in the round on your side, and you're emailed.
A round sent for feedback rather than approval shows only the reply box — there's nothing to sign off.
Tip: Sent it by mistake? Open the round's ••• menu and click Mark as not sent — the link stops working.
