Hub → Dashboard

Your desk

The dashboard is a desk, and every object on it opens one of your tools. It is the quickest way into whatever you were doing.

How to find your way around the desk

Each object on the desk is a tool. Hover one to see what it is, click it to open it. The sidebar does the same job in a list if you would rather navigate that way.

The dashboard drawn as a desk, with a pinboard, a folder of briefs, a piggy bank, a quill, a computer and a calculator
Every object is a tool: click it to open it.
  1. Open Hub → Dashboard from the sidebar.

  2. The pinboard is Client Feedback, the stack of paper is Client Briefs, and the calculator is the Quote Calculator.

  3. The piggy bank opens your Finances, and the quill opens Contracts.

  4. The old computer opens Useful Links, and the name badge opens your profile.

  5. Click any of them to go straight to that tool.

Tip: Everything on the desk is also in the sidebar, so use whichever you find faster.

How to change the picture in the frame, and your email logo

The picture frame on the wall is yours to set. It does two jobs: it hangs on your desk, and it is the logo at the top of every email your clients get from you, so put your studio's logo in it.

The account page's frame setting, where a picture is uploaded for the desk's frame
The frame picture is set on your account page.
  1. Click the picture frame on the desk, or open Admin → Account and find the desk frame setting.

  2. Upload the image you want. Your logo is the usual choice, since it goes out on your email.

  3. It is resized for you, so a logo or a photo both work.

  4. Go back to the desk to see it hanging on the wall.

  5. Send yourself a test brief or quote to see it at the top of the email a client receives.

Tip: Every email your studio sends carries this picture: briefs, quotes, contracts, feedback rounds and portal welcomes. Until you set one, they go out with the Drool wordmark instead.
